On 21 June seven professors received a Medical Delta double appointment at the University of Leiden, LUMC, TU Delft and / or Erasmus MC Rotterdam. The double appointment builds a bridge between the medical world in Leiden and Rotterdam and with that of technology in Delft.
The double appointment ceremony took place during the 6th annual Medical Delta Event that is visited by 350 top scientists, engineers, doctors and entrepreneurs every year. This is the second time in the Dutch academic history that a double appointment took place; the first time was in 2014 when 11 professors received a Medical Delta appointment.
