Vacancy: Board Member at Young Medical Delta

YOUNG Medical Delta is seeking a new board member ! Are you a student (university/university of applied sciences), PhD candidate, or young professional passionate about healthcare and technology? Then this is your chance!

General job description:

As YMD Board Member, you will be responsible for:

• Representing the Young Medical Delta community within the broader Medical Delta network. 
• Contributing to the planning and development of events for early-career researchers and professionals.
• Participating in regular board meetings and actively contributing to decision-making processes.

Depending on the position you take on, the role specifications may vary. We are currently finalising the division of functions within the board, so the exact responsibilities are still being defined.

Requirements:

• You are a university or university of applied sciences student, PhD candidate from an institute affiliated with Medical Delta (several universities of applied sciences, TU Delft, LUMC Leiden, Leiden University, Erasmus University Rotterdam or Erasmus MC), or a young professional.
• You have a demonstrable affinity with health innovation in the broadest sense.
• You are motivated to tackle projects alongside your studies, work or research.

Duration and availability:

• Availability for a period of 2 years.
• A time commitment of 2 to 4 hours per week.
• Preferably, you start as a board member in January 2026.
