Teknowlogy 2023

Tuesday
6/27/2023

De Fabrique, Utrecht

9:00 - 18:00

This year's TEKNOWLOGY event will explore the role of technology in shaping our future. The event will commence with a keynote address by Rudy van Belkom, who will expound on the impact of technology on the future of society. This will be followed by a panel discussion featuring distinguished speakers from the realms of research, business, government, and research funding, moderated by Roanne van Voorst, an esteemed futures anthropologist who will also offer her unique perspective on the topic.

Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to share their own insights on the future of technology in sessions such as the Futures Perspective session, hosted by STT (The Netherlands Study Centre for Technology Trends), or the interactive brainstorming session presented by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. Attendees may also attend the session on effective research consortium formation or visit the pitches given by Open Mind grant candidates. As in previous editions of TEKNOWLOGY, participants will have the chance to learn about NWO's diverse research funding instruments and to ask questions regarding the funding process.

A demo market will also be present, offering a platform for attendees to interact with creators of technological innovations and engage in discussions about their inventions. This market will remain open throughout the day, and information regarding the demonstrations available will be made accessible in due course.

Further details regarding the programme and schedule will be published on this page in the near future. The speakers scheduled to attend will also be added to this page as they are confirmed.
