The Healthy City Conference

On April 18, 2023, the Healthy City Conference will take place at the Sparta Stadium in Rotterdam, an event organized by SPRING and Healthy Neighbourhoods.

The Healthy City Conference aims to bring together groups (organizations and teams, partners and projects) that are thinking about the future of healthy living in the city. The goal is to create a more complete picture of the projects and research around health inequalities and working with communities on transitions regarding health. The conference is an open call for contributions regarding ongoing work, obtained results and next steps, where connections are made between others in the field with research and/or practical experience.

Program

The purpose of the day is to create a space where participants can exchange knowledge and get excited to start new projects. Our participants come from a range of backgrounds: from healthcare and sociology to urban planning and industrial design. We have invited speakers to provide inspiration and various workshops and presentations will serve as a venue for discussions. The day will end with a networking event.

How to get involved

If you have a research project and would like to share your (preliminary) results, or are working on an interesting pilot and are looking for input from researchers in your field, or have an idea for a brand-new research project and are searching for collaborators, this is the perfect opportunity.
