The smart care relay 2023

The Smart Care Relay will be organized from February 6 to March 3, 2023, on behalf of the Ministry of Health, Welfare & Sport (VWS). The Smart Care Relay focuses on innovation in care, welfare and prevention.

The Smart Care Relay will take place consecutively in:

• Region East (Overijssel, Gelderland, Flevoland):
• February 6 to 10Region West (North Holland, South Holland, Utrecht):
• February 13 to 17Region North (Groningen, Friesland, Drenthe):
• February 20 to 24Region South (Zeeland, North Brabant, Limburg):
• February 27 to March 3

In addition, the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport will organize a national opening on February 6.

Activities

The Smart Care Relay is a knowledge marathon in which everyone is invited to share his/her expertise and learn from each other. Anyone can join the Smart Care Relay by organizing an activity and/or participating in the activities of others. The focus is on what can be achieved together. Because you don't innovate on your own. Collaboration is necessary to scale up innovations broadly and transform healthcare. Therefore, we encourage organizers to especially work together when organizing an activity. By doing, discussing and experiencing, we multiply knowledge and new connections are created.

National opening

The Smart Care Relay 2023 will be digitally opened on February 6 from 13.00 - 14.30 in an interactive setting. Practical knowledge and experiences will take center stage, using real cases and good examples. The meeting is organized by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport.
