Applications for the 2027 National Healthcare Innovation Award are now open

It is once again possible to submit successfully implemented healthcare innovations for the National Healthcare Innovation Award. The National Healthcare Innovation Award is organised annually by Zorginnovatie.nl with the aim of accelerating the scaling up of promising healthcare innovations.

Participation gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to bring their innovation to the attention of a broad network within the healthcare sector and further strengthen their business. In addition, participants have a chance to win the €10,000 professional jury award or the €5,000 public award. The competition provides a valuable stepping stone towards market expansion and greater visibility.

More than an award

Developing a good innovation is one thing. Ensuring that it is subsequently discovered, adopted and scaled more widely is another challenge. The National Healthcare Innovation Award supports entrepreneurs in this phase. From the regional preliminary rounds to the national finalist program, the process offers various opportunities to pitch an innovation and connect with potential customers, partners and other organisations in the sector.

Ready for the next step

Do you have a healthcare innovation that has already been tested and implemented, and do you see opportunities to scale it further? Then the National Healthcare Innovation Award could be your next step. After registration, regional partner Medical Delta will make an initial selection for the South Holland final round. The winner of this round will represent South Holland in the national final. This year, South Holland-based Ditto won the professional jury award at the National Healthcare Innovation Award.
