Finalists of the Food Boost Challenge 2025 pitch their solution

Wednesday, April 16, 2025

What is the best idea to encourage young people to make healthier and more plant-based choices more often? In the Food Boost Challenge, 10 teams compete against each other. You can help decide the best idea from youth for youth until May 12.

Together with educational institutions and partners from business and the social sector, the Food Boost Challenge challenges young people to come up with ideas to make healthier eating more appealing. In five phases—from research and idea generation to concept development, prototyping, and implementation—they give a boost to healthier eating habits for their own and future generations. The Medical Delta Living Lab ‘Vitality Implementation and Technology (VIT)’ is one of the initiators.

In its third edition, the Food Boost Challenge has once again been carried out by, with, and for young people to encourage healthier and more plant-based choices. Ten youth teams, together with partners from business, education, and the social sector, collaborated with the target group to find solutions. They focused on the experiences and perspectives of young people aged 15 to 20.
