How do you keep elderly care humane, affordable and attractive to healthcare professionals? Four students from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences went in search of answers together with care organizations, researchers, care providers and residents of care homes. With their contribution to the Innoveer(t)huis project, they have won the Future Makers Award from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences in the Vital Community category.

Innoveer(t)huis is a living lab run by Zorgpartners Midden-Holland, VGZ Zorgkantoor and Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Here, innovations for elderly care are researched together and tested directly in practice. One question is always at the center: what does an innovation actually deliver for residents and healthcare professionals? In this way, we are working toward elderly care that is smarter, more humane and more future-proof.

Among others, Innoveer(t)huis collaborates with the Medical Delta Living Lab TIPIZ.
