Health~Holland open Science for Industry Call

Friday, March 13, 2026

Health~Holland opens the Science for Industry Call. Through this call, a minimum of €5 million in public-private partnership (PPP) funding is available for innovative collaborations between companies and research organisations.

With this initiative, Health~Holland aims to strategically apply scientific knowledge to drive industrial innovation and economic development. The goal is to strengthen economic earning capacity, increase Life Sciences & Health (LSH) R&D-capacity, and generate societal impact for the Netherlands.

The Science for Industry Call enables consortia to take the next step in developing innovative LSH products and services by applying scientific knowledge and methodologies to address concrete challenges from the business sector. Both Dutch companies and research organisations are eligible to access substantial PPP funding to accelerate R&D in the Netherlands.

Who is this call for?

The Science for Industry Call targets consortia consisting of at least one company based in the Netherlands (lead applicant) and one Dutch research organisation. Dutch micro- and small-medium enterprises (SMEs) can participate in a consortium but are not eligible to be the lead applicant. Other parties, such as healthcare institutions, patient organisations, and funding bodies, are also invited to join. Consortia jointly carry out R&D and primarily work in the Netherlands on a concrete challenge from the lead applicant, focused on the development or improvement of marketable products and services.

Each project can receive PPP funding ranging from €500,000 to €1,200,000.
