This week, the Dutch newspaper Nederlands Dagblad published an article about the greening of healthcare, following the "Green Week" of the physicians' federation KNMG. KNMG aims to raise awareness of the high greenhouse gas emissions and waste generated by healthcare.

Professor Dr. Frank Willem Jansen, Chairman of Medical Delta and Chairman of the National Network for the Green OR, is one of the interviewees in the article. He talks about the Green Barometer, a method hospitals can use to compare themselves to one another and gain more insight into ways to become more sustainable.
