Successful pitch event for Healthy Society Program upscaling projects

No fewer than 34 participants presented their project ideas last Monday at the Provincial Government Building in The Hague during the pitch event of the Healthy Society Program.

The submitted projects are eligible for a scaling-up grant of €50,000 from the Healthy Society Program, a collaboration involving the Province of Zuid-Holland, Leiden–Delft–Erasmus Universities, and Medical Delta. After an initial selection round, applicants will be informed by mid-March which projects will receive funding.

The event proved to be an inspiring morning filled with innovative ideas addressing socially relevant themes, such as the organisation of primary healthcare, healthy lifestyles and living environments, mental resilience and prevention, digital healthcare and technological innovation, and healthy nutrition.

The diversity and quality of the pitched ideas demonstrate the strong shared ambition to work together towards a healthier society in Zuid-Holland. Through this call for catalytic funding, the Healthy Society Program contributes to the goals and principles of the Delta Action Agenda, published later this year. The pitch event also resulted in valuable exchanges and new connections between participating parties.
