Nine Medical Delta professors simultaneously installed with dual appointment

Today, nine professors were simultaneously inaugurated as 'Medical Delta professor' at Leiden University, LUMC, TU Delft, Erasmus University and/or Erasmus MC. With an appointment at at least two of these five academic institutions, they combine technology and healthcare in their professorship.

Medical Delta professor Marileen Dogterom elected as new academy president

Prof. dr. Marileen Dogterom, Professor of Bionanoscience at TU Delft and Medical Delta Professor, will succeed Ineke Sluiter as President of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences on 1 June 2022. She is currently Vice President. Dogterom is being appointed for a period of three years, and will combine the presidency with her scientific work.

Nine professors will be inaugurated as 'Medical Delta Professors' on Tuesday 2 November in the Aula of TU Delft. NWO chairman Marcel Levi will give a lecture. The Conference also includes a panel discussion on healthcare innovation, an information market and networking possibilities.
