Today NRC Handelsblad published a news article about the research with living heart tissue that takes place at Erasmus MC under the leadership of Dr. Yanick Taverne, one of the principal investigators within the scientific programme Medical Delta Cardiac Arrythmia Lab.

Student teams iGEM Leiden and Delft win prizes in international biology competition

Both iGEM Team Leiden and iGEM Team Delft won prizes in the annual biology competition iGEM. Team Leiden presented a solution for making genetic modification safer. Team Delft developed a portable test kit that makes invisible hunger visible.

TU Delft's University Fund drew attention to research in Delft that contributes to improving and future-proofing Dutch healthcare. Alumni from Delft were invited to contribute to this research. And they did: more than 1,050 alumni made a financial contribution.
