Team Leiden wins iGEM Award with hydrogel against burns: “A real surprise”

A team of Leiden students won an iGEM award in Boston. Medical Delta supported this team. We spoke to Maarten Lubbers, one of the students, about their research into the possible applicability of the suckerine protein as a gel against burns.
