On Thursday 9 July, Young Medical Delta announced the winners of the Thesis Awards 2020. Jason Voorneveld won in the PhD Thesis category. John Wang won with his research in the Master Thesis category and the audience award was won by Andrada Velea with no less than 418 out of 1,024 votes.

Councilman Paul Dirkse of the municipality of Leiden today opened the Medical Delta Fieldlab Phenomix at the Leiden Bio Science Park. In this field lab companies, healthcare institutions and scientists work together on practical applications of 'metabolomics' research.

Medical Delta starts four new living labs. In the living labs, the Universities of Applied Sciences that are part of Medical Delta work together with healthcare institutions and companies. Each living lab received € 200,000 from Medical Delta.
