Young Medical Delta Thesis Awards 2020 winners announced (video)

On Thursday 9 July, Young Medical Delta announced the winners of the Thesis Awards 2020. Jason Voorneveld won in the PhD Thesis category. John Wang won with his research in the Master Thesis category and the audience award was won by Andrada Velea with no less than 418 out of 1,024 votes.

New field lab brings individual health profiles closer

Councilman Paul Dirkse of the municipality of Leiden today opened the Medical Delta Fieldlab Phenomix at the Leiden Bio Science Park. In this field lab companies, healthcare institutions and scientists work together on practical applications of 'metabolomics' research.

Medical Delta invests € 800,000 in four new living labs

Medical Delta starts four new living labs. In the living labs, the Universities of Applied Sciences that are part of Medical Delta work together with healthcare institutions and companies. Each living lab received € 200,000 from Medical Delta.

A milestone for the Clinical Technologist: the NVvTG announced that from July 1st this medtech healthcare professional is officially BIG registered. Since 2014, the bachelor program in Clinical Technology has been given by TU Delft, LUMC and Erasmus MC.

Impulse health & technology research with nine new Medical Delta professors

Nine professors are now allowed to call themselves ‘Medical Delta professors’. They received a dual appointment at two or more academic institutions in the province of Zuid-Holland that are affiliated with Medical Delta.
