Featured project: More efficient diabetes care thanks to MiGuide

Diabetes patients go to the doctor about four times a year for a check-up. With the MiGuide app, they can also take standard measurements at home and receive personal lifestyle advice. With a voucher from the ZorgTech innovation program, a consortium wants to integrate the app into GP practices.

A consortium led by Prof. Arn van den Maagdenberg has received funding of € 1.6 million for research into epilepsy and migraine using home monitoring. The research is part of the scientific program Medical NeuroDelta.

The Delft company SLAM Ortho, in a consortium with the hospital Reinier de Graaf Gasthuis and Medical Delta Living Lab Research OR, is developing sensor technology for drills. It received a voucher from the ZorgTech innovation program and has now started further development.
