David de Glint appointed new Managing Director of Medical Delta

As of 1 September, David de Glint has joined Medical Delta as Managing Director (a.i.). He succeeds Gertine van der Vliet. De Glint has a background as program manager, secretary and director at various organizations, including Bouwend Nederland, FOCWA and the Reinier de Graaf hospital.

A team of researchers involved in the scientific program Medical Delta Cardiac Arrythmia Lab has created a research setup at Erasmus MC that keeps slices of human heart tissue alive in a biomimetic system. This allows the team to see the effect of medication or treatments on specific patients in a very targeted way and for a longer period of time.

‘Groeifonds’ application MedTechNL to next phase

The ‘Groeifonds’ (Growth Fund) application from MedTechNL has been selected for further elaboration. Of the 243 submitted pre-applications for the National Groeifonds, 28 proposals were selected. These proposals will have the opportunity to submit a detailed Groeifonds application in the coming months.
